My name is Luke Vyle. I am a born and bred Kiwi (or New Zealander) and have been in the building industry for 12 years. I worked as a carpenter in Hamilton and Auckland for 8 years (including my apprenticeship) building luxury homes on beachfronts, cliff-edges, bush sections (or woodlands) and riversides.
After meeting the girl of my dreams I left New Zealand in 2011 chasing her back to the UK where we now live in sunny Somerset with our dog, Oscar.
I have had the pleasure of working on some great projects since moving to the UK and learning some great new skills (traditional green oak framing). I have had my New Zealand qualifications recognised by UK NARIC to be considered comparable to N/SVQ level three standard and also hold a UK CSCS card in carpentry and joinery industry accreditation B.
I take great pride in my work and have a particular eye for the smallest detail ensuring you get the quality workmanship and the end result you want.
With my experience of work in New Zealand and the UK I offer an all round knowledge base whether its an outdoor project with decks having built in seating and planter boxes or traditional carpentry working with oak and using traditional architrave in period properties.
Some further examples of my work can be seen by clicking here.
